In March 2009, the Hanshin Namba Line opened, connecting Hanshin Amagasaki Station and Kintetsu Osaka Namba Station. If you take the rapid express train from Amagasaki, you can go directly to Nara without having to change trains! Sightseeing in Nara has become much more convenient.

Nara Park
Nara Park, famous for its deer, spreads out at the foot of Mount Wakakusa. This large park spreads across 660 hectares at the foot of Mount Wakakusa in Nara City. Cultural heritage sites such as Kofuku-ji Temple, Todai-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and the Nara National Museum are scattered throughout the park. Many deer are also allowed to roam freely within the park.
A shrine adjacent to Nara Park that enshrines the guardian deity of the Fujiwara clan. This shrine enshrines the guardian deity of the Fujiwara clan and has a deep connection with Kofuku-ji Temple. The main shrine building is adjacent to Nara Park.

A temple representing Nara, famous for its Ashura statue. This temple is associated with Fujiwara Kamatari, the founder of the Fujiwara clan, and his son, Fujiwara Fuhito. It is known for many national treasures, including the Eastern Golden Hall, the five-story pagoda, the northern round hall, and the three-story pagoda.
A World Heritage temple known for the Great Buddha of Nara. This temple was built in the Nara period (although most of the current Buddha hall was rebuilt in the Edo period). The National Treasure Great Buddha statue (a bronze seated statue of Vairocana Buddha) in the Golden Hall (Great Buddha Hall) is world famous.
