Check-in and check-out times

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is by 11am.
However, this may vary depending on the accommodation plan. Please check when making your reservation.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in?

We will keep it at the front desk.
We can also store your luggage after check-out, so please let us know.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

Non-smoking rooms are available. Please request at the time of booking.
If we are unable to provide a non-smoking room, we will provide deodorizing service.

Is it possible to push the beds together?

This is not possible as there is a night table between the beds.
However, in Regular Twin rooms, one side of the bed is attached to the wall.

Can I sleep with my child?

Children can stay for free if they share a bed with you.
However, meals will be charged separately.
* Meal fees for children (ages 3 to preschool) sharing a bed are 2,960 yen for dinner and 1,350 yen for breakfast.
For stays from 12/31 to 1/2: Dinner 3,400 yen, breakfast 1,470 yen
 

Are there any rooms where I can stay with pets?

We have cottages available where you can stay with your dog.
Please note that dogs are not allowed in the main building, Aqua Palace, or Tenmonkan.

Up to 2 small to medium sized dogs (large breeds are not allowed regardless of weight)
Dog facility usage fee: 3,300 yen (tax included) per dog per night

*Please bring a certificate showing that you have received rabies and combined vaccinations within the last year.

Can I park my car next to the cottage?

You cannot park your car next to the cottage. You will be shown where to park when you arrive.
However, you can load and unload luggage and let passengers get on and off near the cottage.
*When you arrive, please park next to the main entrance of the hotel building and proceed with the check-in procedure.

How far is the hotel building's restaurant and large public bath from the cottage?

In both cases, you will have to walk outdoors, but it will take 5 to 10 minutes to get to the restaurant.
It takes 7 to 15 minutes to reach Aqua Palace (hot springs, pools).
You will also need an umbrella on rainy days.

Does the cottage have a kitchen set?

The kitchen set is available for rental, so please let us know when you make your reservation.

Is there a parking lot?

Free underground and outdoor parking is available.
Please note that underground car parks may not be available due to height restrictions and vehicle height.
For motorbike guests, underground parking is available.
 

Do I need to make a reservation for the shuttle bus?

No advance reservations are required.
The buses operate on a regular schedule, so please check the timetable on the "Access" page and use the bus that best suits your schedule.

Can minors stay?

Minors (those under 18 years of age or high school students or younger) must have parental consent.
 

I have a food allergy. Is it okay?

The seven specific ingredients are listed on all dishes.
For customers with other allergies, we can also provide ingredient lists for 21 other items, so please let us know (in advance) when making your reservation.
However, in the kitchen, we use shared cooking utensils, and although we thoroughly clean them, there is a possibility that traces of allergens may be mixed in. For the reasons mentioned above, the dishes we serve are not completely allergy-friendly, so please be aware of this in advance.
Please note that for customers with severe allergies, we may be forced to refuse entry, as customer safety is our number one priority.

Can I reserve a seat?

We do not accept reservations or guarantees of seats.
Please note that we will provide seating on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you have chairs and tableware for children?

We have it available.
However, please note that numbers are limited.

We are planning to visit with a large group, can we all sit together?

Depending on how busy the restaurant is, you may be seated separately.

Is it possible to come just for meals as a non-staying guest?

There may be days when we are unable to accept your request depending on how busy the restaurant is.
Please contact us in advance to confirm.

Is the hot spring bath free for guests staying at the hotel?

Yes, it is free to use.
However, for those aged 12 and over, an additional bathing tax of 150 yen will be charged.

Can I use the hot springs before check-in or after check-out?

Available from 2pm on the day of check-in.
After checking out, you can use the facility until 2:00pm if you complete the check-out procedure by 11:00am.
 

Can I use the pool before check-in or after check-out?

Available from 2pm on the day of check-in.
After checking out, if you complete the check-out procedure by 11:00, you can use the facility until 14:00.

Do guests have to pay a fee to use the pool?

Yes.
[Weekdays] Adults: 600 yen, Children: 300 yen [Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays] Adults: 1,100 yen, Children: 500 yen [Peak season] Adults: 1,300 yen, Children: 600 yen However, this may vary depending on the accommodation plan. Please check when making your reservation.

Do I need to wear a swimming cap in the pool?

Not required.

Do you have rental swimsuits?

Available with charges.
 

Can I go from the pool to the hot springs in my swimsuit?

We apologize, but when moving from the pool to the large public bath, you will need to pass through the Aqua Palace Lobby, so we ask that you refrain from moving around in your swimsuit.

Are there coin operated laundry facilities?

There are two washing machines and two dryers available in the annex, "Aqua Palace."
If you require laundry detergent, please ask at the Aqua Palace reception or the hotel front desk.

Are there any facilities where I can eat lunch inside the building?

Sorry, we are not currently open for lunch.

Are there any discount tickets for Shima Spain Village?

We provide you with a passport that can be used on the day of your stay or the next day.
Sales price: 3,800 yen

If you plan to visit Spain Village before checking in, please purchase a 1-DAY passport at Spain Village on the day with cash or credit card, and present the ticket stub and receipt at the front desk when you check in to the hotel. We will refund the difference in the ticket price.
However, this is limited to tickets and receipts for the day.
*Please note that tickets purchased at convenience stores, travel agencies, etc., electronic tickets, and tickets with various discounts applied at the time of purchase are not eligible for a fare difference refund.

Spain Village also sells 2-day and Afternoon Passports.

Can you prepare a birthday cake?

Yes, we can. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
