Yokoyama Observatory
Yokoyama, which continues northwest from Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace, is 203 meters above sea level. It is a great vantage point with a magnificent view of Ago-Bay. It is also known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms and azaleas, and on clear days, you can see a magnificent panorama of Kumano and Ise in the distance.

Toba Aquarium
This aquarium is the largest in Japan in terms of the number of species it breeds, with approximately 1,200 species of sea and river creatures being bred and exhibited. It is also the only aquarium in Japan that breeds dugongs, which are said to be the model for the mermaid legend. There are also plenty of other attractions, such as the "Miracle Forest" that opened in 2015, and "Coral Reef Diving," where fish swim even on the ceiling.

MIKIMOTO Pearl Island
This is the island where Kokichi MIKIMOTO became the first person in the world to successfully cultivate pearl in 1893.
