We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued patronage of Miyako Hotels & Resorts.
Our company began in 1890 (Meiji 23) with the opening of Yoshimizuen, and in 1900 we changed our name to Miyako Hotel(now The Westin Miyako Kyoto). From there, we began our history as a hotel, and have now grown into one of Japan's leading hotel groups, with 25 facilities both domestically and internationally, and over 6,000 rooms.
We have developed the Miyako brand to meet the diverse needs of our customers, from urban casual service hotels to luxury resort hotels. We pursue the tradition and peace of mind, and the high quality and hospitality that have been passed down for 130 years, and provide our customers with "heartwarming experiences created by delicate consideration and cultivated elegance."

Currently, we are serving not only domestic guests, but also many inbound tourists. In addition to proactively renovating our hotels and inns, we are also striving to improve our hospitality in terms of our services, and provide services that exceed our guests' expectations. It gives us joy and a sense of accomplishment to see our guests happy and say with a smile, "Thank you. I'll come again."
At the same time, we aim to create a company that is both easy and rewarding for employees, thereby contributing to improving employee motivation and increasing loyalty to the company.
As stated in our corporate philosophy, we aim to become "one of Japan's leading hotel and inn chains that is recognized internationally," and we will continue to take on further challenges with an eye toward expanding the Miyako brand globally.
