Organic coffee grown using natural fertilizer is roasted in a large roaster inside the store. Enjoy the carefully brewed coffee in a hideaway-like space in the basement of the hotel. This is a Roastery Café where you can spend a blissful moment.
Roastery means "roasting place" in English. You can enjoy specialty coffee made with special care in the roasting and brewing process. The much talked about "Roastery Café" has come to Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo from Hakata, a global city popular among young people in Asia.
The store's name comes from "omoufu," an archaic word meaning "to think."
A cup of coffee or a dish of food carries with it the "feelings" of the many people involved before it reaches the customer. ""OMOFU"" aims to be a place where you can enjoy delicious drinks and food.
We also sell coffee beans, so if you are interested in buying some, please ask our staff.
