Chinese Restaurant "SHISEN"
CONCEPT
Spend a refined Kyoto moment in a space imbued with an elegant Oriental ambiance
To ensure privacy and allow you to relax in a dignified and oriental atmosphere, the tables are arranged to maintain space between them. We have four private rooms that can accommodate 4 to 20 people, as well as booth seating, semi-private semi-circular seating, and private rooms with lounges, to meet a variety of needs. Enjoy a moment of ultimate bliss with the smart and attentive hospitality that only a hotel can offer.
"We cherish the time-honored culinary traditions and continually strive to embody the spirit of Kyoto hospitality."
Greetings from Chef Yamazaki, Head of Sichuan Cuisine
My name is Yasuhiro Yamazaki, Executive Chef of Chinese Restaurant SHISEN. I joined Miyako Hotel (now The Westin Miyako Kyoto) in 1988, where I mastered the art of Sichuan cuisine and also acquired skills in Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. In 2017, I was appointed Executive Chef of Sichuan Cuisine at Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo. With a heartfelt commitment to hospitality, I offer Kyoto-style Chinese dishes that are light yet rich in flavor.
