Our membership organization is called "Miyako Plus " and is operated by Kintetsu Miyako Hotels International, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which manages Miyako Hotels & Resorts (hereinafter referred to as "MHR").

(1) Membership

There are no joining fees or annual fees. After agreeing to these terms and conditions, please register on the MHR website or the MHR smartphone app (hereinafter referred to as the "membership app"), or fill out the "membership application form" at any MHR facility and apply. In either case, you will be considered a member (acquired membership status) when we approve your membership and you are properly registered in the member system operated by our company.

(2) Membership status

  • Membership cards and member apps may only be used by the member himself/herself and may not be transferred or lent to a third party. (Not applicable to corporations)
  • If a member fails to comply with these terms and conditions or engages in conduct inappropriate for a member, our company reserves the right to cancel the member's membership without prior notice or warning.

(3) Issuance of membership cards

  • Our company will issue Miyako Plus membership cards only in the following cases:
    1) When you fill out the "Membership Application Form" at any MHR facility
    2) Other individuals approved by our company
  • Membership cards will not be issued to Members who have completed the registration process via the Membership App, unless otherwise approved by the Company.

(4) Prohibition of duplicate membership registrations

Membership registration is limited to one per member, and one person cannot register multiple times. If it becomes clear that a member has registered multiple membership cards and membership apps, the Company reserves the right to select one of the registrations as valid and invalidate the others.

Each MHR facility will provide separately determined benefits and services according to the amount of usage or the number of nights stayed. The latest information on benefits and services will be posted on the MHR website.

(1) Accumulation of points and nights

  • After staying at an MHR facility, using a restaurant or bar (including in-room dining), or receiving your goods, present your membership card or membership app at the time of payment to receive 10 points for every 100 yen (excluding tax). If you do not present your card, you will not be able to receive points. However, with the exception of some facilities, points and nights stayed will be automatically added as a general rule from the day after check-out.
  • Points are awarded to those who pay at MHR facilities by cash, credit card (including gift certificates issued by credit card companies), or other payment methods approved by MHR. Points are not awarded for payments made with points. Points are awarded to one member per payment.
  • In the case of accommodation, points will be earned on the room rate and service charge for those who make a reservation directly through MHR facilities, the MHR Reservation Center, or the MHR website. Points can be earned on accommodation up to 5 rooms per day per member.
  • Only those who use payment methods and reservation routes that are eligible for point accrual will be eligible for the accrual of nights. In addition, even if a member stays in multiple rooms, the number of nights will be accrued for the one room that the member stayed in.
  • When using restaurants and bars, points will be awarded on food and beverage charges and service charges. Points will be awarded for a maximum of 10 people per member per transaction.
  • Regardless of ③, ④, and ⑤, there are some products that are not eligible for points or nights, such as special events. In addition, points will not be awarded for reservations made through travel agencies or other companies' websites.
  • Payment of cancellation fees will not be eligible for points or nights accrual.
  • Some MHR facilities are eligible for points accrual when used for weddings. For details, please contact the MHR facility. (Points are not accrual when used for banquets.)
  • When points are added, you will be notified of the added points on the day and the total points.
  • For available facilities, please refer to the information booklet and the Miyako Plus Members page on the MHR website (hereinafter referred to as the "Member Page").
  • Points will be added to your bill after you join.
  • Some purchases at the MHR online shop are eligible for points. Please check the online shop website for details. Points will be added the month following the month of purchase. Purchases must be made by the member themselves.
  • The number of points to be earned at participating facilities outside Japan will be calculated based on the applicable fee at a rate set by our company. Please check with each facility for details.

(2) Using points

  • If you wish to use your points for payment, one point can be used as 1 yen per transaction per member. Please note that cancellation is not possible after the points have been used for accounting.
  • Points can only be used at the time of purchase or when receiving the product. Points cannot be used for prepayment such as online reservations.
  • When using points at participating facilities outside Japan, the points will be converted at a rate set by MHR. Please check with each facility for details.

(3) Prohibition of transfer of points

  • Members may not allow a third party to use, borrow, transfer or use their points as collateral, unless otherwise permitted by the Company.
  • Even if a Member has multiple Membership Cards or Membership Apps for any reason, as a general rule, points cannot be combined onto a single card or app.
  • Members cannot exchange points for cash.

(4) Expiration of Points

  • If a member does not earn or use points for two years from the last month of use, the points he or she holds will automatically expire. In addition, a separate expiration date may be set for each point.
  • If your membership is lost or cancelled, all points will be forfeited.
  • Expired points cannot be refunded.

Please contact the Miyako Plus Customer Desk if you wish to change your address, name (surname), phone number, etc. You can also make changes yourself through your member page or member app. If you do not notify us of the changes, we may not be able to notify you the latest news or notices. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity when making changes.

(1) Management of Miyako Plus Cards

Please take good care of your Miyako Plus Card. If you lose it, we will reissue it (with a charge of 500 yen including consumption tax). Please inquire at the nearest MHR front desk. MHR will not bear any responsibility for any damage by members due to loss or theft.

(2) Password management

The setting, changing, and management of passwords for the member page and member app are the sole responsibility of the member. MHR shall not be held liable for any damage suffered by a member due to personal data leakage or other such reason.

  • If a Member wishes to withdraw from the Program, he/she may do so by following the procedures.
  • When a member deceased, the membership will be terminated upon notification from the member's family or relatives.
  • MHR reserves the right to cancel the membership of any member who has no record of use or points acquisition for three consecutive years after joining.

(1) Purpose of use of personal information

Personal information will be used for the purpose of providing Miyako Plus member services and various associated notifications. However, if a member requests that such notifications be discontinued, MHR will discontinue them to the extent that it does not impede business operations. Therefore, even if notifications are not required, MHR will still notify members of matters that MHR considers important. Furthermore, cards, direct mail, etc. will not be sent outside of Japan.

  • These terms and conditions, products eligible for point accumulation, and benefits/point usage details may change without notice. Please check the MHR website for the latest terms and conditions, products eligible for point accumulation, and benefits/point usage details.
  • If these Terms and Conditions, or the Products eligible for point accrual, Benefits, and point usage details are revised, such revision will be posted on the MHR Website, etc. at least one month prior to the date of the revision, and the revised Terms and Conditions, etc. will come into effect at midnight on the date of the revision.
  • MHR and Kintetsu Miyako Hotels shall not be liable for any damage suffered by a Member as a result of the preceding paragraph.

  • If the entire Miyako Plus service is to be terminated, you will be notified at least six months in advance. When the service ends, the benefits and points will also end.
  • Neither MHR nor the Company shall be liable for any damage suffered by a Member as a result of the preceding paragraph.

Provision of all or part of the services based on these Terms and Conditions may be suspended or interrupted due to system failures caused by natural disasters such as fires, power outages, earthquakes, or other reasons, as well as system maintenance and other operational failures. In such cases, the Company shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by members or third parties, regardless of the reason.

Miyako Plus and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and the Osaka District Court shall be the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes relating thereto.

  • Points cannot be earned in the same way as points programs run by other companies.
  • Benefits, services and information may be provided only to certain members based on differences in usage history, residential area, campaign applications, etc.

Miyako Plus members can enjoy the most affordable rates available exclusively to members.
If a Miyako Plus Member has booked a room rate on the Miyako Hotels & Resorts official website and the rate is instead being sold on another company's booking site at a rate that meets the best rate conditions below, please contact us using the "Best Rate Guarantee Application Form."
We will check the details of your application, and if approved, we will charge you the same fee as you requested, and in addition, we will give you twice the usual amount of Miyako Plus Points.

In order to guarantee the best rate, the following conditions must be met at the time of booking:

  • Same hotel
  • Same accommodation date (arrival date/departure date)
  • Number of users
  • Same room type (view, size, bed type, amenities, etc.)
  • Same stay time (check-in time and check-out time)
  • The same payment method and cancellation policy

  • Reservations where your arrival time is less than 72 hours before the hotel's standard check-in time.
  • Rates that cannot be booked online, such as those that only accept reservations by phone.

Please make a reservation directly through the official website of Miyako Hotels & Resorts, and submit the application using the dedicated form below within 24 hours of completing the reservation and at least 72 hours before the normal check-in time set by the hotel. (Reservations with arrival times less than 72 hours before the normal check-in time are not eligible.)
Once your application is received, we will contact you within 72 hours after reviewing the details.
