What is Miyako Plus?

Miyako Plus is a membership program available at Miyako Hotels & Resorts.

How do I join?

You can join by clicking " Miyako Plus Application " on this website. Please present a printout of the membership registration completion screen or the registration completion email at the front desk the next time you visit. Once you have presented these, the front desk will issue and hand over Miyako Plus card.
You can also log in to the app using the membership number listed on the registration completion screen and the password you set.
You can register as a new member through the app or at the front desk of each hotel.

Are there any joining fees or annual fees?

There is no joining fee or annual fee. This program is free to use.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit.

I don't have an email address, can I still join?

To join via the smartphone app or online, you must register with an email address.
If you do not have an email address, you can join by plastic membership card, and applications can be made at the nearest Miyako Hotels & Resorts affiliated hotel or inn.

Is there an expiration date for membership?

(If you join after June 2022, when Miyako Plus is renewed) There is no expiration date for your membership. However, Miyako Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to cancel the membership of members who have no usage or point accrual records for three consecutive years. Points will expire if there are no points added or subtracted for two years.

Do you have a membership card?

The app will act as your new card. If you download and use the app, you will receive information about events, camps, etc. You can also check your point details on the app.
If you would like to have a card issued, please inquire at the front desk and we will issue one at the hotel.

What do I need to do to reach the next status?

Your status will be upgraded according to your usage record from April to March of the previous year. You can check the conditions required for the next status upgrade on the smartphone app or on your online My Page.

When does my membership status change?

Your status will be determined from April of the current year based on your usage record from April to March of the previous year. (Your new status will be reflected on April 1st.)
Even if you achieve the criteria during the period, your status will be updated in April.

Can my membership status be lowered once it has been increased?

If the results for the current year do not meet the criteria for the status for that year, the status for the following year will be lowered by one level.

How can I check the status?

You can check your status by logging in to your smartphone app or web page.

How can I check the number of nights stayed and the amount spent (record)?

Please check the membership card screen on the Miyako Plus app or contact the Miyako Plus Customer Desk.

When will the number of nights stayed and the amount spent (actual) be added?

If you present the Miyako Plus app or Miyako Plus card when paying, the points will be added on the spot. Please be sure to present it. (Please note that if you do not present it, the points will not be added.)

Can I earn points with the day use plan/one-day plan?

Even if you make a day use plan/day trip plan, you will receive points according to the amount you spend if the reservation is eligible for points. However, please note that this does not count as the number of nights required to upgrade your status.

Are there cases where the number of nights stayed or the amount spent (record) is not added due to differences in the reservation route?

Reservations made through travel agencies or other companies' websites will not be eligible for accrual.
Points will be credited when booking via the Miyako Hotels & Resorts official website, reservation center, or by calling or visiting the hotel directly.

If the points I earn exceed the criteria for achieving and maintaining my status, will the excess points be carried over to the following year?

It will not be carried forward as it will be included in the actual calculation for the fiscal year.

What are points?

Points are earned according to the amount spent, and the accumulated points can be used at the hotel when paying for your stay, with 1 point equaling 1 yen.

When will points be awarded?

If you present the Miyako Plus app or Miyako Plus card when paying, the points will be added on the spot. Please be sure to present it. (Please note that if you do not present it, the points will not be added.)

How are points calculated?

After staying at a facility or using a restaurant or bar, present your membership app or membership card at the time of payment and you will receive 10 points for every 100 yen (excluding tax) spent.

Can I earn points for any use?

Points are awarded for room charges, food and beverage charges, and service charges for those who make reservations through the Miyako Hotels & Resorts official website, the accommodation reservation center, or directly by calling or visiting the hotel. Points are awarded when payment is made at each facility by cash, credit card, or any other payment method approved by our company.
*When staying overnight, points will be added for up to 5 rooms per day per Miyako Plus member. Please note that the number of nights added will only be for the rooms in which the member stays.
*When dining at restaurants and bars, points will be added for each Miyako Plus member, up to a maximum of 10 people, per transaction.
*Some facilities allow you to earn points when using them for weddings. Please contact each facility for details. (Points are not awarded for banquets.)

Can I earn points if I make a reservation over the phone?

Points are earned when you make a reservation through the Miyako Hotels & Resorts official website, through the reservation center, or by calling or visiting the hotel directly. When making a reservation by calling or visiting the hotel, please quote your membership number.

Can I earn points if I make a reservation through another company's website or a travel agency?

Booking through another company's website or travel agency is not applicable.

If there are two people staying in one room, will points be awarded to the other person?

If multiple members stay at a hotel, points will only be awarded to the representative guest.

Can I earn points when purchasing from the Miyako Hotel Online Shop?

There are some products that are eligible for points. Please check the online shop website for details. Purchases are limited to the member himself/herself.
As a general rule, points will be added the following month after your purchase is confirmed.
Please note that birthday double points are not eligible.

What can I use my accumulated points for?

Accumulated points can be used at the hotel when paying for your stay, with 1 point equaling 1 yen.

Do points have an expiration date?

Regular points are valid for two years from the last month of use. However, campaign points etc. have individual expiration dates, so please use them by that date.

How can I check the points I have earned and their expiration date?

You can check your points details and history on your web My Page or smartphone app.

Can I use my points to pay at the hotel?

Points can be used at the rate of 1 yen per point only when paying on-site. Points cannot be used for pre-payment.

Can I use my points when making purchases on the online shop?

Points cannot be used when purchasing from the online store.

Can I transfer points?

App members can only gift points to each other by using the "Point Gift" function on the smartphone app.
Otherwise, it is not transferable, even between family members.

Can I combine points from two IDs?

Points cannot be combined.

If a customer has multiple membership numbers for some reason, and they have participated in a campaign using both membership numbers and earned points and coupons, can they use both?

Unless otherwise specified, participation in the same campaign is limited to one time per user. Even if two or more membership numbers are registered by the same person, participation will be limited to one time. Therefore, the same person cannot use two campaign points or coupons acquired with two membership numbers.

Can I exchange my accumulated points for gift checks?

As of May 31, 2022, our gift check exchange service has been discontinued.

I forgot the password I registered on the website. Can you tell me what it is?

Please note that in order to protect personal information, Miyako Plus Customer Desk cannot look up member passwords. If you use the Miyako Plus app, please reset your password by going to "Forgot your membership number or password?" within the app. If you do not use the Miyako Plus app, please call the Miyako Plus Customer Desk. We will reset your password for you.

I cannot log in.

If the message "Your membership number or password is incorrect" is displayed, please enter the correct membership number and password, making sure to distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers, and that there are no spaces. If you do not know your membership number or password, please contact the Miyako Plus Customer Desk.

I can't install or update Miyako Plus from the app store.

The OS of your device may not be compatible with the version of the Miyako Plus app. Please update the OS of your device.
If you are unable to update your OS, you can transfer your existing membership information and usage history to a plastic card. Please inquire at the front desk of your nearest hotel.
Please check with each store to see what OS version is required to use the Miyako Plus app.
(*The compatible OS for the app may change without notice.)

Because my membership number has changed (for some reason), I can no longer confirm my existing hotel reservations on the Miyako Hotels & Resorts reservation site.

If you change your membership number while you have a reservation, you will no longer be able to view or change your existing reservation on the reservation site.
You can confirm or change your reservation details from the URL in the reservation confirmation email you receive when you make a reservation.
If you have any questions, please contact the hotel you booked directly.

How can I change my membership information?

You can change your membership information via the smartphone app or your online My Page. You can also change your information at the Miyako Plus Customer Desk.

How can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership by changing your membership information on the Miyako Plus app or on your online My Page.

Can I earn points at hotels outside of Japan?

Points are eligible. The number of points to be added or subtracted at facilities outside Japan will be calculated based on the applicable fee at a rate set by our company.
