What are the SDGs?
The world (Earth) is faced with various social issues, including conflict, poverty, inequality, and the environment. Among these, the United Nations has set 17 goals as the "Sustainable Development Goals" to address important issues that need to be resolved by 2030. These goals are abbreviated to the English initials SDGs.
It aims to solve social issues by having people from all over the world work together to achieve goals, and to create a society in which no one is left behind. It serves as a guide for people to "work together toward the happiness of the whole society and the whole world," rather than "working hard only for their own happiness."
