The Blue Seafood Partners
Miyako Hotels & Resorts
The Blue Seafood Guide is a list of sustainable seafood that is kind to the earth, based on the idea that by prioritizing the consumption of sustainable seafood, Japan can support its fishing industry while helping to restore depleted marine resources.
We select sustainable seafood based on our own scientifically-defined methodology, which is based on the principles of the UN FAO's "Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries." We support the UN's Sustainable Development Goal SDGs No. 14, "Conserve and sustainably use the oceans and seas," and aim to realize a sustainable society.
We support this idea and have joined forces with other partners to provide knowledge and information to help people make sustainable choices.
"Food SDGs Project" in collaboration with Kyoto Prefectural Agricultural High School
Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
