Miyako Hotels & Resorts participates every year in the "HAPPY WOMAN FESTA" held on March 8th, an event established by the United Nations, with the aim of realizing a gender-equal society.
International Women's Day is a day to think about how women live their lives, and is a day for both men and women to think about and take action on gender equality. Miyako Hotels & Resorts supports the activities of HAPPY WOMAN, which aims to empower women and realize a gender-equal society, and has prepared accommodation plans and menus that "make women feel happy," and welcomed guests in the lobby decorated in the company's symbolic color, happy yellow.
 

Kintetsu Miyako Hotels International, Inc. has also been certified as a company that promotes ikumen (fathering).
We will continue to work to create a comfortable working environment for both men and women.

As a member of the Miyako Hotel Yokkaichi Mie Food "Human Resources" Development Platform, we are participating in industry-academia collaboration projects. We are incorporating new perspectives into product development and developing collaborative products to provide students with social experiences that will lead to their future. This project aims to secure and develop human resources who will lead the future of "Mie Food". From 2022, we plan to develop collaborative products with students from Kokugakuin University, and in 2023 with students from Yokkaichi Agricultural High School.

In June, which is LGBTQ+ Pride Month, Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo launched an afternoon tea filled with colorful sweets and fruits with a rainbow motif, the symbolic color of the rainbow that celebrates diversity.
By experiencing various "individuality" and "the joy of differences," we hope to raise awareness of diversity, and we express our support for a society that accepts diversity in order to "be a comfortable hotel for everyone" through our afternoon tea.
