The restaurant "Epoch" at Hotel Kintetsu Universal City offers a menu that is conscious of local Osaka ingredients such as "water eggplant" and plant-based foods. The menus on the counter include logos of Osaka-made (Mon) and Blue Seafood, and POPs are created to appeal to the eye and the tongue.

In December 2022, Hotel Kintetsu Universal City City's casual restaurant "Epoch" was registered as an "Osaka City Zero Food Leftovers Promotion Store" promoted by the Osaka City Environment Bureau as an effort to reduce food waste and leave as much food as possible.
