Kawakita Handeishi was a cultural figure described as "the Rosanjin of the East, the Handeishi of the West."
The hotel also features works by artists of the Handeishi Senkaku Kiln, who continue to carry on the original design. There is also a corner where you can purchase works from the Senkaku Kiln, as well as a gallery exhibiting valuable works by Handeishi and others.
