Tea Ceremony Room “GUAN” 〈 the CLUB 〉
The tea room remains as it was when the temple first opened
Handeishi Kawakita was the president of the Hyakugo Bank and was also one of Japan's leading ceramic artists, known as "Rosanjin in the East, Handeishi in the West." The characters for "Guan" on the plaque were written by Handeishi. The tea room is a full-scale building with a hearth, and has a dignified atmosphere.
