CONCEPT

Located at the foot of Ise Jingu, Ise-Shima has been known as the "Land of Eating" since ancient times, as it has offered food to the people. In a comfortable and sophisticated space overlooking Ago-Bay, you can enjoy beautiful Japanese cuisine made with local seasonal ingredients.
Enjoy dishes unique to Traditional Japanese cuisine that bring out the best in the ingredients, including Mie's nutritious ingredients.

There are many Mie Prefecture brand ingredients among the ingredients grown in Ise-Shima, and we feel the greatness of the land and the richness of the food. Because the quality of the ingredients is high, we try not to overwork them and make the most of their natural flavors. We have also started visiting local producers, and value the opportunity to see the production sites with our own eyes, such as fishing ports, sake breweries and bonito smokehouses to learn by listening to their stories. We will provide delicate Japanese cuisine full of seasonal feeling with a monthly changing menu, tableware that brings out the flavor of the food and a heartfelt hospitality.

He joined the Hakata Miyako Hotel in 1986. He trained at the Japanese Traditional Japanese"Shikitei", and in 1987 at the Miyako Hotel Osaka(now Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka ) Japanese restaurants "Miyako" and "Uemachi". In 2016, he was involved in providing Traditional Japanese cuisine at the Ise-Shima Summit. In 2019, he was appointed Executive Chef of Traditional Japanese cuisine at Shima Kanko Hotel .

The "Mikekutsu Kuni Course" offers Mie's rich and nutritious ingredients, and is a course that pursues the taste of the seasons with seasonal flavors and beautiful presentation. The "Ryori Ichidai" is a popular dish, which the customer can choose their favorite ingredient from spiny lobster, abalone and Matsusaka beef to be cooked together with the bounty of the land and sea.
