After graduating from Kyoto Culinary College in 1993, he trained at hotels in Kyoto, Nara, and Shiga, and became head chef of Shima Kanko Hotel Teppanyaki Yamabuki in 2020. Making use of his extensive on-site experience, he serves teppanyaki dishes that allow guests to enjoy conversation with him at the counter and a sense of realism. His style of offering surprises and new appeal while adhering to traditional techniques that make the most of the quality of the ingredients is one of the new food attractions of Shima Kanko Hotel.
