Kindai Mango
At Kinki University's Yuasa Farm (Yuasa-cho, Arida-gun, Wakayama Prefecture), students from the Faculty of Agriculture harvest, sort, and ship mangoes as part of their practical education.
Kindai Mangoes are grown in an energy-saving manner by raising the temperature inside the greenhouse in line with the warmer seasons, rather than the mainstream cultivation method in Japan, which involves keeping the temperature inside the greenhouse at 20℃ to 25℃ or higher and making the mangoes bloom in winter to bring forward the harvest and shipping period. As the harvest season is in August, the mangoes are exposed to more midsummer sunshine, resulting in a smooth texture and rich sweetness.

This lobby lounge has large windows from which you can view the gardens as they change with the seasons. A fountain is set up in the center of the lounge, creating an open space. We offer seasonal afternoon tea and other light meals.
