  • Accommodation Terms and Conditions

  • The accommodation contract and related agreements that our hotel enters into with guests will be subject to these terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these terms and conditions will be governed by laws, regulations, or generally accepted practices.
  • Suppose the Hotel agrees to a special agreement to the extent that it does not contravene laws and customary practices. In that case, such special agreement shall prevail, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

  • Anyone who wishes to apply for an accommodation contract with the Hotel must provide the following details to the Hotel:
    • Guest name
    • Date of stay and expected arrival time
    • Accommodation fees (in principle, based on the basic accommodation fees in Appendix 1)
    • ① Applicant's name and contact information ② Name of the person paying for the accommodation and their contact information
    • Other matters deemed necessary by the Hotel
  • If a guest requests, during their stay, to extend their stay beyond the date specified in paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the hotel will treat this as an application for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made.

  • The accommodation contract will be concluded when the hHotel accepts the application described in the previous article. However, this will not apply if the Hotel proves it did not take the application.
  • When the provisions of the preceding paragraph have concluded an accommodation contract, an application fee set by the Hotel, limited to the basic accommodation fee for the period of stay (if it exceeds 3 days, then 3 days), shall be paid by the date specified by the Hotel.
  • The deposit shall first be applied to the room charge ultimately payable by the guest, and if a situation arises in which the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 apply, the deposit shall be used in the order of penalty followed by compensation. Any remaining amount shall be returned upon payment of the charges under Article 12.
  • Suppose the application fee stipulated in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel by the provisions of the same paragraph. In that case, the accommodation agreement will become void. However, this only applies if the Hotel has informed the guest when specifying the due date for payment of the application fee.

  • Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the Hotel may enter into a special agreement stipulating that the application fee specified in the same paragraph shall not be required after the contract has been concluded.
  • If, when accepting an application for an accommodation contract, the hotel does not request the payment of the application fee as outlined in paragraph 2 of the previous article or does not specify a due date for the payment of the application fee, the application will be treated as having been subject to the particular terms outlined in the previous paragraph.

  • Our hotel may not accept the conclusion of an accommodation contract in the following cases:
    • When the application for accommodation does not conform to these terms and conditions.
    • When the hotel is fully booked, and no rooms are available.
    • When the person seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct themselves in a manner that will violate the provisions of the law, the public order, or good morals regarding their accommodation.
    • When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to fall under any of the following items from (a) to (c)
      • (a)An organized crime group as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Activities by Organized Crime Group Members (Law No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as an "organized crime group"), an organized crime member as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 6 of the same Law (hereinafter referred to as an "organized crime member"), an associate member of an organized crime group, or a person related to an organized crime group, or other anti-social forces.
      • (b)When a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or an organized crime member.
      • (c)A corporation in which any of its directors is a member of an organized crime group.
    • When a person seeking accommodation behaves in a manner that is extremely disruptive to other guests.
    • When the person seeking accommodation can be detected as carrying an infectious disease.
    • When violent demands are made concerning the accommodation or an unreasonable burden is requested.
    • When it is impossible to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, malfunctions of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
    • When the case falls under Article 4 of the Nara Prefecture Hotel and Inn Business Act Enforcement Ordinance.

  • Guests may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
  • Suppose the guest cancels the accommodation contract in whole or in part due to reasons attributable to the guest (excluding cases where the hotel has requested payment of the application fee by specifying a due date as stipulated in Article 3, Paragraph 2, and the guest cancels the accommodation contract before payment). In that case, the hotel will charge a penalty, as listed in Table 2. However, suppose the hotel has accepted a special agreement stipulated in Article 4, Paragraph 1. In that case, this will only apply if the hotel has notified the guest of the obligation to pay the penalty when the guest cancels the accommodation contract.
  • If a guest does not arrive by 7 p.m. on the day of the stay without contacting us (or one hour after the expected arrival time if the guest has stated it in advance), we may regard the accommodation contract as having been canceled by the guest.

  • The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
    • The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases: When the guest is deemed liable to conduct themself in a manner that will violate the laws, public order, or good morals regarding their accommodation, or when they are deemed to have committed such conduct.
    • When the Guest is considered to be one of the following (a) to (c)
      • (a)The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases: Organized crime group, organized crime group member, associate member of an organized crime group, or related person to an organized crime group or other antisocial forces.
      • (b)When a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or an organized crime member.
      • (c)A corporation in which any of its directors is a member of an organized crime group.
    • When the guest behaves in a manner that causes significant nuisance to other guests.
    • When the guest can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease.
    • When violent demands are made concerning the accommodation or an unreasonable burden is requested.
    • When it is impossible to provide accommodation due to a natural disaster or other force majeure event.
    • When the case falls under Article 4 of the Nara Prefecture Hotel and Inn Business Act Enforcement Ordinance.
    • When the Guest does not comply with the prohibited activities set out in the Usage Regulations stipulated by the hotel (limited to those necessary for fire prevention), such as smoking in bed in the bedroom, tampering with fire-fighting equipment, etc.
  • When the hotel cancels the accommodation contract by the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel will not charge the guest for any accommodation services that have not yet been provided.

  • Guests will be required to register the following particulars at the hotel on the day of their stay:
    • Name, age, gender, address and occupation of the guest
    • For foreigners who do not have an address in Japan, we would like to get your nationality, passport number, place of entry, and date of entry
    • Departure date and scheduled departure time
    • Other matters deemed necessary by the Hotel
  • When a guest intends to pay the charges stipulated in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as accommodation coupons or credit card, they may be required to present such means in advance at the time of registration stipulated in the preceding Paragraph.
  • When "Foreigners who do not have a domicile in Japan" request accommodation, we will ask them to provide their name, address, occupation, etc., as well as their nationality and passport number, and to present and copy their passport.

  • Guests may use our hotel's guest rooms from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. the following morning. However, if the guests stay consecutively, they may use the rooms all day except on arrival and departure days.
  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may permit the use of guest rooms outside the hours specified in the same paragraph. In this case, the following additional fees will be charged.
    • 30% of the room charge for up to 3 hours in excess
    • 60% of the room charge for up to 6 hours in excess
    • 100% of the room charge for over 6 hours
  • The room charge in the preceding paragraph shall be 70% of the basic accommodation fee.

  • Guests must abide by the rules and regulations posted within the hotel.

  • The opening hours of our main facilities are as follows. Detailed opening hours of other facilities will be provided in the pamphlets and on notices posted in various locations.
    • Front desk/cashier service hours
      • (a)Gate closing time is 11 p.m.
      • (b)Front desk service: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
    • Food and beverage (facility) service hours
      • (a)Breakfast: 7:30am - 9:00am
      • (b)Lunch: 11:30am - 2:00pm
      • (c)Dinner 5:00pm - 10:00pm
  • The hours in the preceding paragraph may be subject to temporary change due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as appropriate.

  • The breakdown of the accommodation fees, etc., to be paid by the Guest shall be outlined in Schedule 1.
  • The accommodation charges, etc., as stated in the preceding paragraph, shall be paid at the Hotel by currency or any other means acceptable to the Hotel, such as accommodation coupons or credit cards, at the time of the guest's departure or upon request by the Hotel.
  • Accommodation fees will be charged even if the guest voluntarily does not stay in the room after the hotel has provided it to the guest and made it available for use.

  • The Hotel shall compensate the guest for any damages caused to the guest while fulfilling or failing to fulfill the accommodation contract and related agreements unless such damages are due to reasons not attributable to the Hotel.
  • Our hotel has taken out hotel liability insurance to deal with the unlikely event of a fire.

  • When the Hotel cannot provide a guest with a contracted room, it will, with the guest's consent, arrange accommodation of similar conditions elsewhere where possible.
  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the Hotel cannot arrange other accommodations for the guest, the Hotel shall pay the guest a compensation fee equivalent to the breach of contract charge, which shall be applied to the damages. However, if the Hotel cannot provide a room for reasons beyond the Hotel's control, the Hotel shall not pay the compensation fee.

  • If damage such as loss or breakage occurs to goods, cash, or valuables entrusted to the Hotel by the guest, the Hotel will compensate for such damage, except in cases where such damage is due to force majeure. However, in the case of cash and valuables, if the Hotel requests a declaration of their type and value and the guest fails to do so, the Hotel will compensate for such damage up to 150,000 yen.
  • If the guest brings any goods, cash, or valuables into the hotel but does not deposit them with the hotel, and such damage is caused by the guest's willful misconduct or negligence, the hotel will compensate for such damage. However, for items whose type and value have not been reported in advance by the guest, the hotel will compensate for such damage up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where the damage is caused by the guest's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

  • Suppose the guest's baggage is delivered to the hotel before the guest's arrival. In that case, the hotel will take responsibility for storing it only if the hotel has agreed to this in advance and will return it to the guest at check-in time.
  • If a guest's baggage or belongings are found left behind at the Hotel after checking out and the owner is identified, the Hotel will contact the owner and ask for instructions. However, if no instruction from the owner or the owner is not identified, the Hotel will store the item for a certain period and then handle it by the Lost Property Act.
  • The Hotel's responsibility for the custody of the guest's baggage and belongings in the cases of the previous two paragraphs shall be following the provisions of the previous article, paragraph 1 in the case of paragraph 1, and following the provisions of the same article, paragraph 2 in the case of paragraph 1.

  • When guests use our hotel's parking lot, regardless of whether the key to the vehicle is deposited with us, our hotel is merely lending the space. It is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. However, if the hotel causes damage through its intentional or negligent actions in managing the parking lot, the hotel will be liable for compensation.

  • If the Hotel suffers damage due to the guest's intention or negligence, the guest will compensate the Hotel for such damage.

  • The hotel will not be held responsible for any damages guests suffer due to their own intentional or negligent acts.
  • Guests are responsible for their use of computer communications within the Hotel. The Hotel shall not be held responsible for any damage suffered by users due to service interruptions caused by system failures or other reasons during computer communications. Furthermore, suppose damage is caused to the Company or a third party due to actions the Hotel deems inappropriate while using computer communications. In that case, the guest shall compensate for such damage.

  • In case of any inconsistencies or discrepancies in the terms and conditions due to language differences, the Japanese text shall take precedence.

  • Any disputes regarding the accommodation contract between our hotel and the guest shall be governed by Japanese law and shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court or summary court having jurisdiction over the head office location of the company that manages or operates our hotel.

  • These accommodation terms and conditions shall come into effect on June 1, 2021, and may be revised at our discretion.
  • Suppose these Accommodation Terms and Conditions are revised. In that case, they will be posted in a viewable form on our website at least 14 days before the revision date, and the revised Accommodation Terms and Conditions will come into effect at midnight on the revision date.

  • If tax laws are revised, the revised provisions shall apply.
  • Children's rates apply to elementary school students and younger. They are 70% of the adult rate when meals and bedding equivalent to those for adults are provided, 50% of the adult rate when children's meals and bedding are provided, and 8,800 yen (including tax) when bedding only is provided. For infants without bedding or meals, 2,200 yen (including tax) will be charged.

  • The percentage is the ratio of the penalty to the basic accommodation fee.
  • If the number of contract days is shortened, a penalty for one day (the first day) will be charged regardless of the number of days shortened.
  • Suppose a contract is terminated for part of a group (15 or more people). In that case, we will not charge a penalty for the number of people that is 10% (rounded up to the nearest whole number) of the number of guests staying 10 days before the stay (or the day of acceptance if the application is accepted after that day).
