Tsukihitei's history dates back to the Meiji era when it was built as a guesthouse for the Governor of Nara Prefecture to entertain important people. The large hall, which retains its original appearance to this day, is characterized by its spacious tatami-floored space. The pillars and ceiling, which exude the warmth of wood, enhance the beauty of traditional Japanese architecture. The large windows offer views of the garden that change with the seasons, and soft natural light spreads throughout the day, while the moonlight and lantern lights create a tranquil atmosphere at night. The hall can accommodate banquets and meetings for up to 40 people and can be used for various purposes, including wedding receptions, reunions, and memorial services.
