[Executive Chef The Westin Miyako Kyoto ] Yasuhiro Yoshida
Originally from Kyoto Prefecture, he served as head chef at restaurants in The Westin Miyako Kyoto and at various hotels both in Japan and overseas, before serving as executive chef at the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel and becoming executive chef The Westin Miyako Kyoto in 2021. He has extensive experience overseeing menus for Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, as well as cooking for VIPs from around the world.

Kintetsu Miyako Hotels Fellow. ASI Sommelier Diploma, JSA Sommelier Excellence, SAKE Diploma
He served on the Japanese Wine Selection Committee and was responsible for beverage service at the G7 Ise-Shima Summit in 2016. He was a semi-finalist in the 2011 All Japan Best Sommelier Competition and was named in the top 10 of the 10th French Wine & Spirits Sommelier Competition.

East Building 4F AOI-DEN
Featuring stained glass depicting Kyoto's three major festivals, views of the nature of Higashiyama beyond the windows, and a beautiful strolling garden registered as a Kyoto City Cultural Property, this traditional banquet hall has been used for banquets for state and official guests, making it a fitting stage for international exchange.
Main Building 3F Circular Room
The view of Kyoto spreads out over the terrace, so you can enjoy a wonderful view no matter where you sit. You can also spend a wonderful time on the adjacent terrace.
