Miyako Gallery
To commemorate the 130th anniversary of its founding, the hotel opened the Miyako Gallery, an exhibition space showcasing the hotel's history and traditions.
Since its founding in 1890, The Westin Miyako Kyoto has accumulated a long history. In 2020, it celebrated its 130th anniversary. In April 2021, a large-scale renovation was completed and a grand renovation was held, aiming for further growth as one of Kyoto's leading luxury hotels. Please take a look at the exhibits that give a sense of the history and tradition that the hotel has built up as a hotel for state guests.
