Miyako Hotels & Resorts will participate in "HAPPY EARTH FESTA 2026," a co-creation event for a happy future, held during "SDGs Week | GLOBAL GOALS WEEK" coinciding with the UN General Assembly. Under the theme of "Happiness for people and the planet," the event will run from September 20th (Sun) to September 26th (Sat), 2026, providing an opportunity for each individual to think about and act on the global environment, thereby contributing to the creation of a happy future.
Would you like to join our hotel staff in a community cleanup activity in the Okazaki area surrounding the hotel? After the activity, breakfast will be provided at All Day Dining RAQOU. Enjoy a special moment where you can feel refreshed after getting some exercise and satisfy your soul with a delicious breakfast.

Miyako Hotels & Resorts supports the "HAPPY EARTH®" philosophy and activities, which aim to create opportunities for action based on the keyword "SDGs I can do too," and contribute to building a happy future through partnerships, and will participate in the "HAPPY EARTH FESTA."The Westin Miyako Kyoto will host a program in which hotel staff and guests will pick up litter as part of a community cleanup activity. The cleanup will take place in the Okazaki area around the hotel, including the area around Kyoto City Zoo, with which the hotel has a connection through its regular SDG activities, such as "compost installation." After the cleanup, breakfast will be provided at All Day Dining RAQOU for participating guests.

Every year around the end of September, for about a week including September 25th (GLOBAL GOALS DAY), the day the SDGs were adopted, events are held all over the world to raise awareness and encourage action toward promoting and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In Japan, too, the "HAPPY EARTH FESTA" is held during "SDGs Week | GLOBAL GOALS WEEK," which coincides with the UN General Assembly, to allow everyone to learn about the SDGs and take action.
